“We are All Human” is a youth exchange that took a place in Kobuleti, Georgia (01.10.2022 – 10.10.2022). The project gathered 35 youngsters from Luxembourg, Georgia, Armenia, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Spain. The main aim of this project was to spread knowledge about non-discrimination and to promote tolerance and mutual understanding between youth. The background of the project was related to the fact that discrimination has been an ongoing struggle as far back as history can recall, and, unfortunately, it is still an issue today. In today’s world, we see several forms of discrimination: gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, education, finance, weight, disabilities, etc. All of these arise from a prolonged superiority complex, ignorance, and indifference to people’s identities. We implemented this project to help youth expand their horizons, improve their knowledge and skills, and provide them with the tools they will need to achieve this change. We aimed to help the participants to recognize that all have the right to be treated equally, regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, class, caste, religion, belief, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, health, or another status. The project's goal was to spread knowledge about non-discrimination and to promote tolerance and mutual understanding among youth. We had the following Learning objectives: - To improve knowledge about different forms of discrimination; - Learn how to communicate with others using non-violent communication; - To be a more active youth in their societies; - Improve knowledge about other cultures and countries; - To enhance participants' knowledge about Erasmus+ Programme; - To develop actions that will combat discrimination; - Rise solidarity and tolerance through intercultural dialogue; -Gain knowledge about other cultures and traditions; - Build an international network of youth (Facebook group or page or other social networks); -Break stereotypes and overcome intolerance. The Youth Exchange “We are all Human” gathered 35 youngsters from six different countries and gave them a floor to identify the meaning of tolerance and pluralism in the international atmosphere. We aimed to break stereotypes, overcome hate speech, and fight discrimination. At the end of the project, the final outcomes were the promotional video, posters, and a booklet to raise awareness about discrimination.
