Objectives

In our project, we had two main goals. First off, we wanted to get young people interested in taking care of themselves better. That meant teaching them about sports, healthy eating, and being environmentally friendly. We believed that by doing this, we could help them lead healthier and more informed lives. The second goal was to bring people together. We used sports and eco-friendly activities to create a sense of unity among diverse communities. By doing activities that are good for both people and the environment, we aimed to build connections and shared responsibility. To sum it up, our project aimed to help young people live healthier lives by teaching them about sports and good habits, and at the same time, foster a sense of togetherness through activities that benefit both people and the environment.

Background

COVID-19 affected the health of society, including the new generation, both directly and indirectly. The indirect effects, due to various restrictions on contact and remote learning, were associated with less physical activity and generally with a more unhealthy lifestyle. The project raises awareness of human needs at individual level and links it very directly with processes that are of global importance. The main objectives of the project are three: encouraging young people to socialize and do sports more; educate young people and educators on nutrition (with a focus on plant-based nutrition), the importance of physical and mental health; introduction of sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyles.
