With the implementation of this project we wanted to achieve higher interest of the youngsters in active participants and active citizenship in the post-pandemic era. We wanted to carry out this project, because we wanted to contribute to promotion of active citizenship during the post Covid-19 pandemic time, as we have noticed that there a lot of new challenges, as pandemic really changed the active participation and related issues, especially in local level in the communities. Thus we wanted to exchange ideas and create new ideas for the new reality in this post pandemic time, so the volunteering and active citizenship would adapt to the new situation and challenges. The aim of the project was to promote active citizenship and civic engagement of young people thus contributing to socially sustainable communities. Objectives of the project were: - To raise the self-confidence and motivational skills of young people; - To raise the young people’s understanding of themselves and others through non-conflict communication; - To give the young people knowledge on the communities we belong to, how they impact who we are and how we act, and that we’re all one big community; - To promote active participation, volunteering and raising awareness of opportunities for youth; - To enhance the youth leaders’ competencies to work with people with various backgrounds and fewer opportunities; - To foster multiculturalism; - To promote Erasmus+ program.
