The primary goal of this project was to develop the skills of 25 young individuals from five different countries in recognizing and combating cyberbullying. This was achieved through a series of workshops and training sessions aimed at equipping the participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to identify online harassment, support victims of cyberbullying, and provide advice to their peers on how to prevent such incidents. Additionally, the project sought to create a network of young ambassadors who could serve as advocates for online safety and promote responsible use of communication technologies in their respective communities. The program emphasized the importance of protecting young people from the potential harms of using mobile or internet devices, and encouraged participants to adopt safe and ethical practices when engaging with digital media in their daily lives. Ultimately, the project aimed to empower young people to take a proactive role in addressing the issue of cyberbullying and to create a safer and more inclusive online environment for all. The specific objectives were: 1. Knowing the possible manifestations of cyberbullying conduct; 2. Enhancing strategies and reactions to cyberbullying situations that target its underlying causes and helps in preventing such occurrences; 3. Recognizing cyberbullying and discovering ways to stop it; 4. Raising the conscience of as many young people as possible about the consequences of cyberbullying. We firmly believe that our project, "Don't Be Mean Behind The Screen," was a direct response to the objectives set forth by the Erasmus+ program. Specifically, our project focused on two key areas: enhancing the quality and quantity of learning mobility, and prioritizing the fight against cyberbullying, violence, fake news, and other forms of online misinformation. Through our project, we aimed to promote cross-cultural exchange and foster a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by digital media. We worked closely with participants from multiple countries to develop their digital literacy skills and empower them to become active agents of change in their communities. At the same time, we recognized the urgent need to address the negative impacts of online behavior and misinformation, which can have serious consequences for individuals and society as a whole. Our project emphasized the importance of ethical and responsible digital citizenship, and provided participants with the tools and knowledge needed to combat cyberbullying and other forms of online harm. Overall, we are confident that our project was in line with the Erasmus+ program's objectives and made a meaningful contribution to the fight against cyberbullying and other forms of digital harm. We hope that our efforts will serve as a model for future initiatives aimed at promoting responsible and effective use of digital media.
