-Objective 1: To improve the recognition and inquiry of gender balance in the "green sector", with a focus on women that are long-term unemployed and/or in need of professional upskilling and additional work qualifications. -Objective 2: To provide women with green operation management skills, 21st-century skills, and adequate know-how related to change on their own, but also change to the organizational structure required to support green activities in a sustainable manner.
The motivation for the project lies in the need of the target groups, but also in the stated objectives, where it was identified by the project consortium that concrete steps need to be developed, planned, and undertaken in order to improve the actual situation. All of the organizations in the process of preparation of the project application and implementation shared within the consortium their motivation to take part in the project, all of them with similar but also different reasons. Through the implementation of this project, we enabled the development of green jobs and policies as well as gender equality. For the first time, this project trained 30 women aged 18 to 29 in North Macedonia and Serbia.
