The project was aimed at addressing gender (in)equality in society by providing a holistic approach and creating awareness among young people about the current situation and the roots of the issue. The project aimed to equip participants with practical photography skills, allowing them to express themselves and raise awareness of gender issues through personal stories and digital visualizations. Furthermore, the project aimed to facilitate intercultural dialogue among participants, helping them understand the issue of gender from different perspectives and sensitivities. The project also aimed to create a network of young people who could support each other in the future and collaborate on the topic of gender equal employment. At the partner level, the project aimed to build and strengthen long-term cooperation among participating organizations and external stakeholders to contribute to each other's professional development. The project also acknowledged the importance of being diverse and exchanging best practices. At the societal level, the project aimed to raise awareness about the gender (in)equality issue among the public and motivate them to start discussions and actions for a more gender-equal society. The project acknowledged that women's equal rights by law had been achieved, but there were still enormous differences among men and women in everyday practices, especially in the workplace. In summary, the project aimed to equip young people with the necessary skills and knowledge to address gender (in)equality, facilitate intercultural dialogue, create a supportive network, and raise awareness among the public to ultimately contribute to a more gender-equal society.
