Background

We applied for this project because we want to help make a difference in relation to the climate challenges we face. By participating in this project, will we as school make students more aware of the climate changes that are happening. As an educational institution, the school has a social responsibility to give students knowledge about citizenship, improve intercultural understanding and give students tools so that they will be able to participate actively in the society in which we live. The school must be a positive contributor so that students are developed into good citizens. Through working in a project with participants from different countries, each of the participants will develop on a personal level, and at the same time you will gain knowledge and experience from countries and cultures that you are not very familiar with. This exchange of experiences will contribute to an increased understanding between people and an understanding of the challenges that different countries face. By increasing intercultural understanding, it will help create bonds between people and prevent discord. Climate change is a global challenge, and we need to work together to find good solutions.
