Objectives

One of the most serious issues that communities faced was transportation. Increased vehicle usage had consequences such as traffic issues and environmental negatives, but it also had a negative impact on the levels of mobility and quality of life in towns, especially in cities where public transit services could not be built efficiently and broadly. Bicycling was seen as an alternate, “sustainable,” and “greener” approach to urban emissions in large cities. Project Aim: The project's ultimate goal improved cycling and led to the reduction of health issues, crashes, natural resource conservation, and economic growth of young people by healthy driving. Specific Aim of the Project: Pedal for Life project was prepared by Intermezzo Ungdomsorganisasjon, and its specific aim increased the rate of bicycle use among 60 young people from Norway, Turkey, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania between 30 SEPTEMBER-10 OCTOBER, BURSA, Turkey, by increasing their knowledge capacity on cycling, safe driving, and basic mechanics. Other goals included: ensured at least 12 young participants who did not know how to ride a bicycle learned to ride a bicycle; promoting safe driving by the proper selection of bicycles and safety equipment, as well as teaching traffic knowledge; developing capacities in basic emergency-focused bicycle maintenance, repair, and mechanics; and raising awareness about the physical and mental health of participants.
