There were three main and a couple of side goals of the project. The main objectives comprised: - development of key language and communication skills - promotion of well-being through physical activity and a healthy diet - promotion of saving and looking after natural environment The secondary goals included: - development of soft skills - development of digital skills - discovering cultural heritage of European countries All the objectives result from our school and local society's needs. Our students, no matter whether from traditional or bilingual/ international units, have to develop their language skills since it is impossible to exist in a contemporary world without being able to communicate in English. Our school does not have its own gym, so in order to take care of the students' well-being it was worth to engage them in some outside school activities to promote sports. Also the condition of our planet is crucial not only for our local society, but for the world in general. Additionally, the secondary goals, which were realized somehow by the way, were paramount due to their relevance in a modern world.
High School with Bilingual Units in Boguchwala is synonymous with innovation and excellence in teaching. Currently the school runs three types of classes: traditional, bilingual and international (students realize IB Diploma Programme). Since its foundation, the school emphasizes the development of digital skills, the introduction of innovative modern technologies in the classroom and, due to its international character, the development of linguistic competences. Within oue project CHEFS Clean, Healthy Environment & Fit Students not only do our students have the opportunity to cooperate with their European peers, but also engage in the actions declared to be the objectives in the project outside their country. Becuase of the encouragement (international trips) students of the school eagerly participated in activities both on the spot and during the duration of mobilities.
