Objectives

Taking part in the project No. 2021-2-PL01-KA122-SCH-000041999, we had in mind to increase interest among high school students in contemporary social challenges and to increase commitment to future personal and professional education. The mobility program has been structured in such a way that students can better understand that schooling and its curriculum are related to all areas of their lives. Conscious choices in the next stages of their professional life will help them get a better job in the future. By implementing the project, we wanted to make students aware of their impact in terms of school and social activity on the modern world. As part of the 10-day mobility, project participants developed skills and competences in the field of communication in English, learning the basics of the Greek language, expanding their knowledge in the field of culture, history, economics, geopolitics and geographical issues in Greece and the entire European Union. Our goal was also to integrate with peers from Greece, as well as to increase the awareness of being European through the implementation of joint activities, culinary workshops, city games.

The project was attended by 33 students with 6 teachers who looked after the group and ensured the proper implementation of the assumed mobility goals. The group of participants included the number of students from the so-called "fewer opportunities" in the dimension of 10 students. The mobility of II LO students took place on June 6-15, 2022, and the host partner was the Mpakogianni School in Larisa, Greece. The main goal of participation in the project was to raise interest in contemporary social challenges and increase the involvement of graduates in shaping their personal, professional and social future.
