The main idea of the project is to make education more practical than theoretical and to open people's eyes to the problems with environment. We believe that starting from the very early age and implementing certain pro-ecological habits will help our world become healthy. We want to rise eco-awareness, contribute to saving energy, water and food, prevent air pollution and insects extinction. We also want learners to develop digital skills and competences by creating website, making online presentations and games as well as creating virtual escape rooms. We also want to show young Europeans that they can be proud of their nation's culture but open to other countries customs and traditions. The notion of unity is also very important for our school community as we have students facing social exclusion and health problems. We want all our students to become united in the actions undertaken during the project and to feel a part of a big eco-friendly nation.
The reason we applied for this project is that we feel an urge to have a real income in saving our environment through developing eco habits. We believe that undertaking actions such as making students and they families aware of the pollution, waste of energy and water as well as thinking of ways to prevent this negative process from happening will help save our planet. The online meetings will allow students use various digital resources beginning from devices ending with online applications. What is more, during previous Erasmus + project we have noticed how the meetings with learners from other countries positively affect our students, especially those who were facing social barriers. We also would like our pupils to learn and observe culture of another nations. The aim of the project was to present another tools of acquiring knowledge about European countries without crossing borders in case possible difficulties (like pandemic/war etc.) but also expressed the natural way of possessing information in real life. Thanks to project meetings our pupils will learn English language in a natural context.
