Through the implementation of the project we wanted to: - improve the linguistic and methodological competence of language teachers and those using bilingualism in lessons in the form of names, definitions, knowledge of EU countries - modernize the ways of education to equip students with knowledge based on an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving and opportunities to develop digital, social, civic, entrepreneurial skills, allowing them to increase their chances of continuing their education in good domestic and foreign universities, and later find employment in the dynamically changing national and European labor market - prepare teachers for the challenges arising from the modern technological revolution (progressive digitization in all spheres), globalization processes and growing economic, social, environmental threats - strive for the status of an inclusive school, offering flexible and attractive programs and individual educational paths implemented in a traditional way and by means of remote techniques (e-Twinning) and accessible to students with fewer opportunities, with dysfunctions - strengthen cooperation with partner institutions, create a network of international contacts.
More than 600 students are educated at the First High School in Lancut. The teaching staff includes more than 50 teachers. The "Sienkiewiczacy in Europe" project was created as a response to the needs of teachers who want to teach in a modern and innovative way, with the use of active methods and available digital tools, and students of our school who want to be taught by competent educators, enabling them to learn about the culture and traditions of European countries and equipping them with the necessary knowledge to pass the baccalaureate at the highest level and prepare them for further careers. Wanting to further strengthen the school's position in the educational market of the district and the province, as well as in the "Perspectives" ranking, we wanted to give the staff a more innovative, international character, improve linguistic, methodological and cultural competence, and find the "key" to working with students with various dysfunctions. Some teachers of the First High School in Lancut have already experienced participation in foreign mobilities and appreciate their importance in improving the quality of education, the attractiveness of the school's educational offer or the development of competencies.
