The most important result achieved is the digital and methodical transformation in ZSP No. 2, the increase of soft and hard skills in a group of 497 students from March 1st to December 31st, 2022.Through participation in the course, a group of 8 teachers learned about the issues related to the innovativeness of teaching and the implementation of new methods, ICT tools and ways to develop the necessary skills: critical thinking, creativity, cooperation, communication. They got to know the activities of the school in this field in Portugal. They introduced changes in curricula based on European education standards and implemented an innovative approach to teaching and learning. As part of the WDN, teachers shared their knowledge and included safe ICT tools, methods of shaping soft skills, effective methods of motivating students to learn and the ability to equalize opportunities for students in access to remote education. Professional teachers have created a virtual school that fully meets the educational and upbringing needs of students. They exchanged experiences with the partner school on the implementation of the green deal.
ZSP No. 2 educates in service professions at the technical school: nutrition and catering services technician, hairdressing service technician, analytical technician and at level 1 vocational school, among others cook, baker, confectioner, hairdresser, salesman, car mechanic. Students complement their theoretical knowledge with practical classes in school laboratories and in industry enterprises and craftsmen. The search for employees equipped with knowledge and skills as well as soft skills by employers, a dynamic labour market where professions disappear and new ones appear at the same time, constantly challenges the education system. The quality of education is proved by the graduate's ability to find himself in the demanding labour market. Such challenges can be met only by well-prepared teachers who are ready to change their teaching style from prescriptive to engaging, searching and inspiring. The answer to these expectations was the implemented project, under which 8 teachers improved their qualifications by participating in the "Inspire to think, mobilize to act" course in Portugal.
