The main objective of the project was to raise awareness about current global issues (things we thought impossible are happening today). At the same time, the other key objective of the project was for the participants to get to know the realities of other countries and learn about new cultures. The participants developed and improved their critical thinking, their English, their self-knowledge and their intercultural relations. In a more developed form, this project aimed to raise awareness of issues of social importance (alienation, climate change or classification systems). Through this awareness, it was hoped to foster empathy and compassion towards people and current problems in the world, as well as to increase their knowledge of social issues. Finally, it was also expected to strengthen the participants' ability to speak in public and to increase their capacity for teamwork and their personal sense of initiative and creativity.
