The main goal of our project was to raise the awareness among the teenagers aged 15-17 years old about the climate change and introduce European Union climate policies and how it functions in order to reach set global goals. To understand such global and complex concept it was important to us to take a deep dive in the critical thinking exercises; we needed to know how to work with the ideas, how to find the root of the problem, how to illuminate different solutions, analyse possible scenarios, present and defend our own arguments and opinions. Our main objectives were: - increase a civic activity of project participants in the problem of climate change (both locally and more globally) and to learn about a global framework of EU climate change initiatives. - broader the knowledge about the European Union and strengthen European values to make sure we, the youth, matter, and we are involved in the action for the greener future. - practically use different techniques of critical thinking, debate and exchange ideas together, learn how to present own ideas and not be afraid of public speaking.
