The aim of the Open Theater project was to enable young people with disabilities to participate in a mixed youth exchange with one of the European countries in order to create a show with young people from another culture. Self-expression through theater developed the open-mindedness, self-confidence and commitment of participants in the international mobility program. This project was intended to be and was as inclusive as possible: everything was carried out so that young people with disabilities could experience mobility as vividly as young people without disabilities. The main goal of this project was to open participants to understanding and supporting the topic of diversity through theater. We see more and more diversity in today's society. It is becoming an asset, although still we experience many people's lack of understanding of the differences of others, including disabled people. By creating an integration space and including young people with and without disabilities in the project - we have created a living platform for experiencing the difference of one person from another and thus faced the problem of intolerance, lack of acceptance, aggressiveness, fear of some people towards others, and especially towards people with disabilities, or people from other countries, religions, etc
