Promotion of participation in social initiatives and active participation in other events, encouraging young people to European mobilities, including those under Erasmus+ programe and promotion of European citizenship is one of top goals of our activity. Our organization Just Do It actively works in the field of encouraging young people in social and European activities since the beginning of our existence, especially when it comes with youth with fewer opportunities. We have been very active in local, regional and European area since many years. Our involvement to working in international area has resulted with making new connections, agreements and creating a network of partners, consisted of nongovernmental organizations from other parts of Europe. Most of these organizations have volunteers and youth workers in their staff who works with youth with fewer opportunities, we have been spoken a lot, about the topic of volunteering and encouraging young people in active participation and social and European events, during the previous projects, and that’s how the idea of the training course was born. By organizing this project, we wanted to encourage youth with fewer opportunities, from rural and disadvantaged geographical areas to the active social participation and to promote amongst them benefits coming by taking part in local and international events. To make that happened, we wanted to prepare youth workers- our target group, who works with these people and took part in training course by giving them the tools such as gaining new knowledge, skills and competencies needed in their work. We also believe that project we organized has inspired youth workers to share their new experience and knowledge they gained with other people in their local communities. Our foundation and partners organizations also got a lot of benefits because of the project. Our employees, and people working in participation organizations gained knew knowledge and experience, raised their competencies in the field of logistics, organizing and management especially according to the work with young people, which will be used during our future work in the local and European area. All of the project goals has been achieved, the mains of them was: -Encouraging to volunteering the youth workers and promotion of volunteering amongst target group especially with young people with fewer opportunities, refugees; -Creating and giving the tools to improve the idea of youth volunteering, encouraging to active participation in social, local and European area by raising competences, gaining knowledge by the youth workers; -Achieving common understanding in the concept of volunteerism and active participation and it’s promotion amongst young people with fewer opportunities from rural areas. - Presentation of Erasmus+ Programme, opportunities it creates and gives to the young people especially in the field of international dialogue and active participation with volunteering. -Gathering new knowledge, competences and management skills, of the European Voluntary Service programme and other youth volunteering projects by youth workers. - Encouraging youth workers to become multipliers of the idea of volunteering. Sharing common values, new strategies and ideas with the youth with fewer opportunities. - Gathering new knowledge about the best volunteering establishments from all around the world, theirs history and success by participants, as an inspiration they can use in daily work in the future. - Giving the tools to the youth workers according to their work with youth with fewer opportunities. Exchange of these methods between participants which resulted of creating new tools and new methods, so it will be used in their daily work. - Gathering new knowledge by participants, about key principles of volunteering, creating the best tools for it’s promotion in society, among youth people.
