Because the national prioritization for Erasmus+ in Poland is concentrated on young workers, we got the thought of executing the following TC with the intention of delivering awareness to youth workers who come from organizations that operate directly with the youngster on how to advance variety, inter-religious and intercultural discussion, critical thinking, media information, and youth leadership, and improves skills and knowledge of youth workers and provides them means for professional growth, including digital youth work, being key priorities of Erasmus+ programme. To achieve Erasmus+ programme objectives, specifically “the promotion of European values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on the European Union”, this was accomplished by a non-formal learning setting and digital tools, such as social media, internet, photo and video art. One of the top priorities of our TC was to elevate Erasmus+ programme as a powerhouse for great ambitions with striking and authentic results. We also aimed to encourage participants to learn how to generate fruitful strategies and execute them in their community, to bestow values under objectives of Erasmus+ as well as to highlight their energies using digital tools. We went deep in analyses in the development process to this application in order to deliver appropriate information connected to the above-discussed preferences, values and goals. "Social Advertising: Does Social Influence Work?" was one of them. One of the comments is stating: "Social media platforms are gaining popularity among firms due to their potential ability to use social influence as a more effective way to reach out to individuals." This was a key point for us. Nowadays, youth workers work with young people - millennials. This TC discussed best practices for working with millennials and efficiently promoting EU values to them. To be more precise, what we learned previously is that in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions of movement, over 80% of the web audience came from videos. According to statistics, in 2021 it was only growing. This illustrated the point that most of the youngsters were drawn to pictures and motion. We aspired to fulfill means on how to deliver, we craved to expand and upgrade the skills of youth workers in the field of active actions in local communities, social media and digital technologies (social media marketing, storytelling through video & graphics). This was achieved through non-formal education methods and a lot of training throughout the 9 days of the plan. We got the incredible results - the moment to start using new plans and technologies in the work of youth workers and NGOs and enhance visibility to a broader group of people. This idea emerged from long conversations, outlined programs between us - youth workers of applicant organization Idea For Life and partners from different 5 countries. As the idea and planning were made with our project co-workers, they entirely supported us and were eager to be a part of it. Moreover, they firmly believed cooperation in this project will improve the expertise and spirit of their mission. We recognised, there were certain issues familiar to all of the organizations that require addressing, multiple of them involved the incompetence of their work in terms of public and young people involved. Therefore we decided to establish TC for youth workers, serving in various fields of social issues, but most significantly directly dealing with marginalized youth, supporting diversity, interreligious and intercultural dialogue, basic values such as independence, tolerance and honor for human rights. TC supported them to promote their ventures, disseminate the issues in a more winning way for millennials and as a consequence– to make positive alterations in society, interlock more active young people in their industry and bring attentiveness of a more large-scale public to the social problems of their local communities. The main objectives of the project were: - To find the Erasmus+ program, its objectives, priorities, preferences and to drive youth workers to practice the acquired experience about Erasmus+ by formulating future collaborations and projects; - To build a platform of participating and conversations between youth workers about promotional gadgets like photos, video, social media, presentations, festivals, street actions etc.; - To raise awareness on the social problems relevant to Erasmus+ priorities and the achievement of youth workers amid them and their target groups; - To spur the sense of accountability for their work with participants through the production of new methods of stimulating the active work of young people; - To improve basic digital skills using a creative approach towards the art of photo and video activity by attending dynamic workshops, social media, and practical work.
