By implementing the project "Perform," our aim was to achieve the promotion of social inclusion and environmental protection through the use of performative arts and comedy theatre as methodologies for youth work. The main goal of the project was to to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use theatre, comedy theatre, and performative arts in their youth work. By doing so, they would be better able to engage and empower young people in addressing social issues and environmental challenges. The specific objectives of our project were as follows: -Developing Competences of Participants in Using Theatre, Comedy Theatre, and Performative Art for Youth Work. -Developing Competence of Participants in Non-Formal Educational Approaches: Our project aimed to promote non-formal educational approaches, such as experiential learning, performative learning, and the Kolb learning cycle. Through training and hands-on experiences, participants could explore innovative and engaging ways of teaching and learning. -Increasing knowledge in the fields of social exclusion, discrimination, stereotypes, prejudices, climate change, and sustainable environment: We sought to deepen the understanding of participants regarding social exclusion, discrimination, stereotypes, prejudices, climate change, and sustainable environment. Workshops and discussions provided valuable insights into these important topics. -Developing Competences in Promoting Social Inclusion and Environmental Protection Among Youth: One of our central objectives was to develop the skills of participants in promoting social inclusion and environmental protection among youth. By employing non-formal methods, such as theatre, comedy theatre, and performative arts, participants could effectively foster awareness and positive change. -Increasing Awareness of Social Inclusion and Environmental Protection Among Youth and Empowering Them to Take Action for Change: We aimed to raise awareness among youth regarding the importance of social inclusion and environmental protection. By empowering young people with knowledge and a sense of responsibility, we hoped to encourage them to become active agents of change in their communities. -Promoting Values such as Tolerance, Social Inclusion, Environmental Protection, Sustainable Environment, Non-Formal Education, Intercultural Dialogue, Solidarity, and Unity: The project actively promoted important values that contribute to a more inclusive and environmentally conscious society. These values included tolerance, social inclusion, environmental protection, sustainable environment, non-formal education, intercultural dialogue, solidarity, and unity. -Increasing the Competences of Participants and Supporting Their Personal and Professional Development: We wanted to support the personal and professional development of participants. Through engaging project activities, participants had the opportunity to enhance their skills, gain new experiences, and grow as individuals and youth workers. - Promoting the Erasmus+ Programme, Non-Formal Education, Youthpass as Reflection Tool, and as the Recognition of Learning Outcomes: Another objective was to promote the benefits and opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme and non-formal education. We emphasized the importance of Youthpass as a reflection tool and a means of recognizing learning outcomes achieved during the project. -Increasing Networking and Cooperation Between Participants and Partner Organizations: The project provided a platform for participants and partner organizations to collaborate and build lasting connections. By increasing networking and cooperation, we aimed to foster ongoing partnerships and future joint initiatives focused on promoting social inclusion and environmental protection. In summary, the "Perform" project was designed to address social exclusion and climate change issues while empowering youth workers to utilize performative arts and comedy theatre as effective tools for youth work. Through a combination of creative methodologies and a focus on critical topics, we aspired to make a positive impact on society, promoting inclusivity and environmental consciousness. The project successfully achieved its objectives, leaving the meaningful impact on participants, partners and local and international communities. There are already the drafts of the following project for youth workers as there have been many organisations who would like to develop such project to face their needs and provide the qualitative training for their youth workers.
