This project aim was to implement an educational tool among European social workers. We wanted to increase the positive resolution of conflicts through understanding the cultural differences, active listening and negotiation skills. It consisted of an international training course for 28 participants from 13 countries of origin, from 7 Partners' organisations countries. Those organistations' experts in the field of education tested a role play on the positive management of a conflict and developed a training module on it applicable in their daily contexts. The specific objectives of the project were: - to analyse the phenomenon of conflict management at any level: personal and/or professional, local, national and international; - to lay the foundation for a better intervention for conflicts on local and international level; - to help out for a better understanding the educational consequences of these interventions; - to provide educational insights into practical tools, reflections on proactive methods, exchange of good practices with Non-formal education methods; - to increase the international cooperation: networking and advocating, to create the best condition for mutual understanding; - to test an educational tool to analyse the conflict situation and improve the soft skills needed during the conflict situation. The educational tool, a role play game called MORE (Mediation of responsibilities and exploitation) was created from the idea of two trainers with many years of experience in international organisations and in working on European projects (Erasmus +, European Solidarity Corps, etc.). The goal of the game is to simulate a negotiation table between different actors for the resolution of an international humanitarian dispute. Each participant in the negotiation has their own interests that are at odds with those of others. Everyone has a goal to reach in the negotiation. How to behave in such a circumstance? How to defend one's interests when fundamental rights are at stake? Is it possible to find a mediation between different interests? We have achieved the goals. Our Participants improved how to manage conflict situations. Thanks to diverse backgrounds of participants we could face and discuss different points of view, needs and problems. the participants had previously prepared a presentation on the conflict situation they had faced on a personal, local and national level. The presentation was presented during one of the project days, which gave an opportunity to discuss the feelings and solutions for these situations. The presented conflicts concerned the situation on each of the levels, thanks to which we could look at the conflicts from many aspects, both from a personal and a broader level. The culmination was playing the MORE game, which gave us the opportunity to enter the next level of discussion about the difference of interests and conflicts, the more so that among us there were people with experience of migration, living in a culturally alien environment, often facing reluctance or even discrimination. On the other hand, there were people from countries deeply affected by the migration crisis and watching the struggles of various sides of this problem on a daily basis. This gave our participants solid knowledge and experience deepening their awareness and understanding of conflict situations. They have learnt new approaches and skills imported in their youth work. The educational tool - the MORE game - has been tested and gain recognition as a proactive, useful method in youth work. Participants learnt that using the game as a tool opens those who play to new experiences in safe environment, enables fruitful discussions and helps people to speak up. Our participants have established strong friendly relationships that last beyond the project. They have already visited each other and they keep in touch in social media. At least one project has also been created in which two partners of the MORE project are involved.
