The objectives of the protect were as follows; -To promote local traditions and handmade materials at home, neighbourhood and in the local area or region. -To protect the environment and human health by using recycled materials or natural materials and promote outside activities. -To protect the self-esteem of women, mainly from rural areas where they hardly find a job. -Try to give alternatives to people from poor regions to earn their living in their own communities instead of migration.
The idea of implementation of this project comes from the rising problems connected with healthy diet and lack of skills of UE inhabitants connected with everday cooking. All participating organisations were awared of the problems of poor diet, rising levels of obesity and the loss of traditional cooking skills in their own countries, but have not had the opportunity to explore the nature of these problems in their local areas.
