By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve a number of goals. Main goal: Reducing social exclusion among people with low qualifications and low income by training employees of social institutions / organizations to become financial educators. Specific goal 1: Increasing knowledge and practical skills in the field of financial education among employees of social institutions / organizations Specific goal 2: Increasing knowledge and key competences among people at risk of social and economic exclusion through financial education.
Financial education is an essential key competence that significantly affects the standard of living of every person. People with low qualifications, including low income, are a special group to which it should be addressed. In the "Draft Recommendation of the OECD Council on Financial Literacy and Education", one of the key activities is the training of financial educators who will provide basic knowledge about managing own finances in a clear and simple way. There is a need to disseminate financial education among groups particularly vulnerable to social exclusion, by educators who have constant contact with this group, understand their situation and are able to convey knowledge about finance in an understandable and practical way. The project responds to the need to spread financial education among excluded people through representatives of NGOs and aid institutions.
