Objectives

By implementing the project, we wanted, first of all, to improve the quality of the teaching and educational process at the facility. Moreover, we wanted: -Develop the ability of teachers to cooperate on an international project and within the institution, which will contribute to better coordination of educational activities. -Instruct teachers to search for optimal teaching methods so that they are open to modern and effective teaching methods. -Provide students with effective teaching methods that will help them function better in adult life. -Prove to students that working for others and on themselves brings measurable benefits, which is to motivate them to further activity and commitment. -Encourage students to take up challenges and activities so that they are more open to new experiences and personal development. -Raise the self-esteem of students and teachers, which will have a positive impact on their self-confidence and motivation. -Develop basic and soft skills in students, such as teamwork, responsibility, planning and perseverance, which are crucial for functioning in adult life. - Gain recognition in the local community as an institution that properly prepares young people to function in the real world.

Background

First of all, we wanted to respond to the educational needs of students from our Center who require a specialized approach and support in the learning process. Our goal was to create an integrated educational environment that combines various fields of knowledge, which promotes better understanding and learning of the material by students with various needs. The project responded to several key needs, including: Increasing student motivation – An interdisciplinary approach allows for more engaging and interesting lessons, which can increase motivation to learn and participate in classes. Development of social and communication skills – Working on interdisciplinary projects in groups promotes the development of social competences such as cooperation and communication. Better preparation for adult life – Students learn how to combine knowledge from various fields, which is crucial in everyday life and future work. Cooperation between teachers of various subjects, which was to lead to a more coherent and holistic approach to students' education. Activation of teachers through the implementation of an international project and, consequently, of students.
