Our strategic partnership was focused on envisioning, sharing, and implementing innovative approaches to teaching Science subjects and motivating practices to achieve more positive outcomes, making teaching and learning more effective. Collaborating at a transnational level influenced both organizations in various areas: Utilizing STEM and IBSE methodologies Gathering a wide range of new ideas to implement in the classroom, documented in the publication and video materials Enhancing language skills applicable in the classroom Attaining suitable language for instructional purposes Engaging with the educational reality in other European countries Exchanging ideas and experiences with teachers from diverse European nations Adding an international dimension to the institutions Developing plans for subsequent cooperation under Erasmus+.
The project's aim is closely connected with our chosen priorities and is based on an analysis of pupils' and teachers' actual needs, as revealed by annual assessment reports from both countries and the latest recommendations. These recommendations emphasize the necessity of enhancing students' basic and transversal skills to help them evolve as responsible and active European citizens, providing them with the opportunity for lifelong learning and future employability in the context of Science subjects. Our objective was to compare teaching ideas, methods, and learning environments. We aimed to enhance teaching skills in the STEM field using the IBSE methodology, which can assist students in building a better future. We believe in our responsibility to educate students in a way that enables them to adapt their skills to their reality. Teaching through experimentation is one of the methods that aids our students' development. Thus, securing funding for collaboration created opportunities to amplify our efforts by merging the experiences of our partners. We are convinced that the cooperation between these two innovative and ambitious institutions has transformed the landscape of science education in both countries.
