Objectives

. The primary goal of the project “Re-where are we going?” was making the vocational training more attractive and gave the possibility of development in international environment, which has a tremendous importance for the youth, which cannot afford to get this kind of experience on their own. Thanks to making our facility international, we made vocational training more attractive and we hope it will attract the candidates in the future. It it important on present work market, where we can experience the lack of qualified workers in many areas. Taking part in the project allowed the participants to develop a lot of key competences, including the ability of critical thinking, the ability to solve the problems, work in a team, managing a team, making the right decisions and building international professional relationship. Another aim of the project was to change stereotypical perception of vocational training facilities, the increase of motivation to learn and prevention of premature ending of educational process. Thanks to taking part in this undertaking we hoped to make the graduates` profile more attractive as they would have a good command of English and surf the Internet freely.

Background

The project enabled to promote in a wide group our two priorities, which is making the education process and vocational training more attractive through making our actions international, and prevention of climate changes thanks to building environmental awareness. The international cooperation caused bigger quality of work, made the graduate's profile more attractive and significantly increased the motivation to learn, not only foreign languages, but also to self-education and it will prevent premature ending of educational process. A major advantage for target groups of all partners was the possibility to encounter foreign vocational education system. This type of contact let the students familiarize with criteria set for workers by employers on foreign market, and at the same time it enriched their CV and raised the school prestige. It was a huge opportunity for the staff to grow their competences, broaden their minds as far as practical aspects are concerned, and as a result, it made them create their own base of good practice, workshops and open lessons. Taking part in the project also made the students and teachers more involved in school life.
