The project set out to elevate e-learning practices and enhance the professional development of trainers in youth education. Key objectives included improving the proficiency of trainers in utilizing e-learning techniques and addressing issues of class abandonment through targeted awareness initiatives. Emphasis was placed on the comprehensive development of trainers' knowledge, encompassing both hard skills (ICT tools, e-learning platforms) and soft skills (communication, motivation, leadership). Additionally, the project sought to broaden trainers' awareness of networks supporting the social and professional integration of students. The methodology centered on active cooperation among partners, fostering the exchange of professional experiences and knowledge. This collaborative approach aimed to not only achieve project-specific goals but also enhance the overall capacity of participating organizations. The gained experience was viewed as invaluable, positioning both individuals and organizations for future initiatives. The project aimed to create a lasting impact on youth education, contributing to ongoing excellence in e-learning and training.
GAME sought to identify and rectify the factors contributing to the premature discontinuation of e-learning training programs. This was achieved by suggesting inventive approaches and pedagogies tailored for youth trainers, with the aim of preventing the abandonment of e-learning courses. The project put forward a set of pedagogical guidelines, primarily targeted at trainers supporting disadvantaged groups. These guidelines were designed to proactively address demotivation issues among youngsters, forming a proactive strategy to mitigate early dropout rates in e-learning training programs. GAME combated the issue of e-learning training abandonment through three distinct strategies: (1) Identification, (2) Prevention, and (3) Compensation. Firstly, the project conducted Desk/Field research to identify the reasons behind e-learning training abandonment, analyzed the role of Trainers in preventing such abandonment, and provided a needs analysis. Secondly, preventive measures were implemented, with a particular emphasis on e-learning training programs and the utilization of ICT to deter abandonment. Lastly, the project proposed ideas to enhance the quality of e-learning training programs.
