Background

Diagnosing groups of young people, as well as those who work with them, we came to the conclusion that there is a progressive process of closing off to people among young people. This is caused by difficulties in communication. The project aimed to build the soft competencies of young people, as well as to develop the existing competencies among the staff working with them. Developing training methods in learning to swim, learning about the region, culture, nature and the possibility of drawing energy from it, served as tools to achieve the goals. Cross-cultural cognition, joint training efforts and coaching cooperation were aimed at building personal, cognitive and communication competence. Through the activities, young people are expected to expand their general knowledge and learn to present it. The willingness to learn was strengthened in this way. Participants of the project are to learn cooperation, communication with people from another cultural background. Developing lesson plans with international youth and disseminating them.
