The applicant also wants to develop competencies in proj. management and gain them in Erasmus+ project management and establish long-term cooperation with partners as well as educational institutions working with the target group.

Background

The E-life balance project was created because we recognized the need to increase digital awareness among young people about digital risks and cyber security. We noted that there are insufficient tools for youth, teachers, youth workers and parents to work with youth on digital safety, and youth have insufficient skills to organize their leisure time beyond internet and terminal device use. It was clear to us that young people, as well as youth workers, have insufficient knowledge about internet and phone addictions, how to fight addictions, how to recognize the symptoms of addictions, and how to seek help. We decided to create this project to develop a handbook for young people working with both youth and parents with knowledge and tips on safe, responsible use of the Internet and modern digital technologies. We want to train trainers and teachers and teach young people how to use the Internet so as not to harm themselves and others, avoiding the many dangers lurking online, such as addictions, misinformation and cyberbullying.
