The project goals were: 1. Gaining experience in international cooperation in the youth sector by two institutions that do not yet have experience in this field, 2. Developing methods of working with young people to improve soft skills, especially in the field of interpersonal communication, 3. Showing young people how important proper interpersonal communication is, 4. Provide youth workers from two organizations with the opportunity to exchange ideas and resources to create a "resource center" for training young people. 5. Building a network of international cooperation
The project was a response to the diagnosed needs of young people in terms of problems with expressing their opinions and feelings, as well as problems in interpersonal communication. The youth that partner organizations deal with are young people who have been deprived of the opportunity to have direct contacts with their peers since March 2021. Young people "locked" at home due to the pandemic, often living in fear for the health of their loved ones or their own. Having contact with people suffering from Covid, taking care of older people who were in a particularly disadvantaged situation during the pandemic. The lack of ongoing peer relationships or transferring them to the Internet has had a negative impact on the ability to talk directly, be assertive or express one's opinions in a larger group during face-to-face meetings. On the other hand, due to the apparent anonymity of the Internet,it became easier to judge others or hate others. We believed that giving young people a chance to learn about different forms of expressing emotions, explaining how important interpersonal communication is in contacts between peers and,in the future, when entering the labor market, will allow them to find their 'own' way of expressing feelings
