In this project our idea was to connect youngsters from different parts of Europe and involve them on this topic, through art. In addition to having a positive influence on the cognitive development of young people, artistic expression increased the awareness of individuals as part of society, stimulated creativity and, when more individuals were involved, taught them to work in groups and make common decisions; these skills are beneficial for both personal and professional growth. DURING THE YOUTH EXCHANGE WE ACHIEVE THESE OBJECTIVES: O1: Developed the topic of sustainability between the participants, best practices in this area at a European level; O2: Created solutions and habits to mitigate climate change; O3: Promoted sustainable, practical, and impact solutions such as waste reduction: according to the Household Waste Statistics, households generate over 1.2 billion tons of waste per year. The goal is to educate youngsters in terms of environmental practices like recycling, reducing and reusing to reduce waste and fight climate change. O4: Raised awareness of the environmental footprint; O5: Raise youngsters' awareness/understanding of environmental issues, offering the opportunity to create change in their local communities, promoting informal and non-formal learning and cooperation in the field of youth. O6: Helped the participants to develop a critical thinking mindset and promote better pratiques to a sustainable living; O7: Promoted Inclusion and Diversity among the youth sector, the future of our continent and the world; O8: Reinforced the capacities of the organization and their international scope of work; O9: Promoted the Erasmus+ programme, EU values and participation in future activities through the use of non-formal education, while promoting its recognition through the YouthPass certificate.
