Objectives

This project was aimed to address this issue by giving youth workers a chance to go through a variety of methods that are practical and can be implemented when working with different kinds of groups at risk of exclusion while at the same time making use of easy creative tools. The use of digital youth work methodology is very widespread in many countries but unfortunately doesn’t often form part of the curriculum for youth workers in EECA region, that is why the participation of these countries and exchange of best practices in the field between Program and Partner countries were crucial in frames of this project. The specific objectives of YOUDigit Training course were as follows: -To provide participants with knowledge about digital youth work methods and its possible benefits for youth work, especially in the context of working with young people at risk of exclusion during crisis times and in limited communicational abilities. - To equip youth workers with new skills to promote social inclusion for vulnerable youth in their respective local communities - To create a platform of self-exploration and self-reflection to better understand the needs of vulnerable youth - To create a platform for intercultural communication and inclusive dialogue between the youth of EU and Partner countries - To develop YOUDigit methodology network together with follow-up projects taking into account the skills and knowledge gained during the project to enhance collaboration between partners - To facilitate after-project partnership between participants and reinforce their international scope and capacities
