Objectives

We had the idea of writing the Vote your choice project at a project writing course, organized by one of the members of our organization. Adriana Bebelea and Diana Vieriu have a background in active citizenship - studies but also participation in various Erasmus+ projects on this topic and in this sense they decided to write a youth exchange on this topic. We did various researches to identify partners - we chose countries where knowledge was low, including voting attendance in European parliamentary elections. After identifying the partners, based on concrete statistical data and discussions with them, we started writing the project based on the real problems - we started with the "needs tree" => followed by activity design => ending with the "results tree" . In the activities, we combined various non-formal education methods especially to stimulate and make the participants aware of their role in civil society. We collaborated with the partners in identifying these needs, including in the writing of the project sections, so that we can achieve the objectives assumed by the project. After the approval of the project, all the partners actively collaborated to achieve the objectives of developing the other key skills of the young people involved in the youth exchange. After the end of the mobility, the partners continued the evaluation and monitoring of the participants, the mentoring being a long-term process - especially since 2024 is the European parliamentary election year. At the end of the 9 months of implementation, we summarized the fact that the 4 assumed objectives were achieved through the project's activities. Ob1 => 43 participants from 7 partner countries know the role of the European Parliament. This objective was achieved through the non-formal activities of simulating the decision-making process, debates, theater, video production, guide conception, especially the activities of days 5 and 6. These activities were through the theater and debate methods. This ob was confirmed through the mentoring and evaluation of young people and after the activity mobility supported by leaders and mentors. Ob2 => 43 participants from 7 partner countries have more trust in European institutions and have developed their civic spirit. This objective was achieved through the world cafe method, theater and the videos made by them. This objectives was confirmed by the mentoring and evaluation of the young people and after the activity mobility supported by the leaders and mentors Ob3 => 43 participants from 7 countries created a brochure about the importance of voting, European institutions, how to research political parties and their candidates. This helps other young people from the local communities to better understand the powers of the European Parliament, what it does and how important EU institutions are for local, national and international society. Active young people worked on 7-8 days of activities. They disseminated these brochures in organizations and local communities in the DEOR Stage. Ob4 => involvement and integration of 21 participants with reduced opportunities. After the implementation of the youth exchange, they acquired new key skills, they feel integrated, they also participated in other mobilities and understood the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program. The objectives of the project were achieved especially during the implementation period of mobility in Costinesti, but also in the other Implementation Stages - Mobility Preparation and especially in the DEOR Stage, where the young participants were a living example of change. In the framework of the Vote your choice project, we considered the needs tree axis - activities - results tree. The objectives of the project were made after understanding the needs of the organizations and were made by Asociatia Sportiva Romiscare together with partners to be SMART and clear for everyone to understand. We have to say that in the Vote your choice project we felt like we were in a team, because the participation of each actor was as equal as possible. This evaluation stage is the activity within the project that shows us most clearly how the following aspects are: 1 youth progress 2 achieving the objectives 3 the impact of the project at all levels (youth, community, NGO)
