The project “We’re All in This Together” was a youth exchange project that aims to raise awareness and fight gender-based violence. The problems and needs that we are addressed through this project were: remedying the gaps in the information provided by formal institutions and disseminating educational models that promote attitudes of non-violence and gender equality. Also, we developed partnerships with an organization that are similar to us and have the same objectives and relevant experience in this kind of work to improve our knowledge and experience. The main objectives of this project were: -To increase the knowledge about gender violence of the 40 participants during the 9 days of the youth exchange; -To develop and promote tolerance, solidarity and the gender equality attitudes of the 40 participants during the 9 days of the youth exchange; -To improve the ability of the 40 participants to recognize gender violence and fight against this in everyday life during the 9 days of the youth exchange. To achieve all our objectives, we used in each activity non-formal education techniques, such as role-playing games, creative seminars, debates, theatrical exercises, team building, icebreakers, intercultural night, city games. Some of the activities were taken from books promoted by the Council of Europe like Compass and Composite. We ensured to have a moment of reflection after each activity to support the learning process of the participants.
