Objectives

The negative effects of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic situation we are currently in are also acutely felt on the labor market. The impact on employers, implicitly on employees, is even greater as companies have not been prepared for such a crisis, there are no signs or aspects in time to prevent us. The most affected by this problem are young people, especially young people with fewer opportunities who are currently at the beginning of their career. The unemployment rate is rising. According to Eurostat in June 2021, 2.962 million young people in the EU were not employed. Among women in the EU, the unemployment rate was 7.5% in June, up from 7.3% in May, while among men the unemployment rate was 6.7% in June, compared to 6.6 % in May. Among the member states, Romania registers with an unemployment rate of 5.2% along with Bulgaria with 4.4% both increasing. At the opposite pole is Turkey, whose unemployment rate is 17.2%. In this context, the role of the proposed project activities: Start Tech Digital: Jobs Action - Social Inclusion (Start Tech Digital) focuses on: Facilitating social inclusion and increasing employability among young people, with a focus on young people with fewer opportunities, by improving / acquiring a set of social, professional and intercultural skills using digital technology, in a society severely affected by the pandemic and in a constantly changing labor market, now more than ever. To this end, Start Tech Digital brought together young people from three countries: Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania, to meet the objectives proposed by the project in response to their needs. Proposed objectives:  Increasing the employability of 30 young people from 3 countries by acquiring a set of professional skills using digital technology, information on new jobs and new opportunities on the labor market, improving digital application skills for a job until 31.12.2022;  Identifying new entrepreneurial opportunities in support of 30 unemployed young people and young graduates looking for a job, of which 80% with fewer opportunities, retraining and redirecting them to other forms of learning and current occupations , until. 29.08.2022  Facilitating the social inclusion of 30 young people, of which at least 24 with fewer opportunities, by developing within the project a set of intercultural and social components (dialogue, attitude, language, passion for film art), illustrated by working in a non- formal and intercultural, both during the mobility and during the implementation of the project until 31.12.2022. These needs resulted from an opinion poll "The first step towards my New JOB" applied online by partners in the communities where they operate.
