The success of our project lies in the fact that we were able to address the immediate needs of migrants seeking refuge and employment in our partner countries by providing concrete L2 short activities that are easy to access and offers 100% free access and understanding. By enhancing their language and communication skills, we have empowered our target group to better integrate into their host communities and become productive members of society with more than 60%. We identified the gaps in support services for migrants and we encouraged dialogue among key actors to take place, identifying gaps and sharing L2 best practices through short and east to understand activities. We provided a solution to a common challenge migrants faces in the host countries taking into consideration that all results are offered in 5 languages, covering 70% of migrant's spoken languages. We consider a plus choosing Arabic as it was used by participants to be the starting language together with English, to understand all project's results/activities in Romanian, Spanish and Turkish.
From 2020 onwards, all partner organizations have encountered a high number of migrants seeking refuge and employment in the host countries of the project partners. As they were eager to start work promptly, they experienced difficulties with the language barrier, resulting in a lack of understanding and communication. Our project's results enhances a large community of migrants with the skills and experience necessary to fulfill the requirements and deliver high-quality communication. The needs we have addressed in this project include the ability to provide better L2 skills, a concrete communication between migrants and their employee and stronger collaboration abilities. We are confident that we made a valuable contribution through this project beyond our target groups as we could integrate the project's results even in state institutions working with foreigners and universities with international students departments that used our project's activities . We fulfilled our target value: 80 migrants from all partner countries who used our activities and improved their L2 language skills for A1-A2 level and 20 HED professionals and 80 international students who use our results in daily classes.
