Background

Education in the European context has significant implications for the economic prosperity of each individual, each community, each nation. We applied for the implementation of the Erasmus+ project because: - it contributes to personal, professional and social development through the development of competences (knowledge, skills, attitudes) in an international context - it contributes to the development of communication skills in English - it raises awareness of the importance and understanding of new cultures and countries, thus developing a sense of belonging to European values and active involvement in the community - contributes to the development of organisational capacity in the context of European and international cooperation. Through the project "New learning and training opportunities in tourism and gastronomy through Erasmus+" students from the two educational institutions, involved in the project, had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, develop skills and attitudes specific to the field of tourism and gastronomy and develop them in a new context with an international character, opening up to European cultural values.
