Objectives

The primary objectives of implementing the CirculaWASTE project are multifaceted. The project aims to train 96 VET trainers, create a Training Manual for VET Trainers, identify and analyze targeted needs and competences in biomass energy, develop new professional skills in the field, promote the EU's RES demands, raise awareness about waste reuse in the EU, and indirectly support the improvement of rural life quality. These objectives collectively address the need for skilled trainers, standardized training materials, tailored training programs, a skilled workforce in renewable energy, alignment with EU sustainability goals, environmental awareness, and rural economic development. The project's comprehensive approach aims to contribute to sustainability and the EU's renewable energy objectives.

Background

The CirculaWASTE project was initiated with the goal of addressing key needs in the field of biomass energy and sustainability. Its primary objectives include training 96 VET trainers to address a recognized shortage of skilled trainers in this area. To ensure knowledge dissemination beyond the project's duration, it aims to create a Training Manual for VET Trainers. The project places significant emphasis on identifying and analyzing specific needs and competencies in biomass energy, ensuring training relevance. It responds to the growing demand for renewable energy sources by developing new professional skills. Furthermore, CirculaWASTE seeks to raise awareness about waste reuse in the EU, promoting sustainable waste management practices in line with EU sustainability goals. Lastly, the project indirectly supports rural development by improving access to renewable energy sources, enhancing economic opportunities, and contributing to better living conditions in rural areas. In summary, CirculaWASTE addresses the need for skilled trainers, training materials, sustainability promotion, environmental awareness, and rural development. Its comprehensive approach aligns with EU objectives and contributes to broader societal goals.
