Objectives

The #urbangreen goals were 1 Increasing knowledge and skills regarding green, biodiversity and eco-green activities for 600 young people who studied the #urbangreen Booklet, over a period of 15 months. After the study visits were finished, we centralized the experience gained and put in an interactive way the best examples learned in the local communities. The design was user-friendly. 2 Involvement in the experience exchange of 36 experts from the 3 partners. They participated in RO, SK and TR study visits where they saw examples of good practice in the field of green, recycling and bio-diversity. Thus they learned new things about the opportunities they have, activities that were included in the #urbangreen booklet. 3 The cross-sectoral development of the 3 partners through the multiplication events in which 80 young people participated (30 in RO, 25 in TR and 25 in SK) and through the brokerage events where we managed to develop new partnerships with 30 NGOs of youth and stakeholders interested in the topic of the project. 4 Increasing the organizational capacity through the cooperation between the 3 partners.

Background

The idea of the project started from the discussions between the members of the teams from Romania, Slovakia and Turkey in a youth exchange. We started from the problems identified at that time, and later we extended the research to the level of the 3 local communities - Corbeanca-Rabca-Belen. After centralizing the results, we made the "needs tree" for young people: = have low knowledge about recycling and biodiversity = have a low level of knowledge related to the needs of "urban residents" = have a low level of civic spirit to clean up the book - especially those who have pet dogs = have poor knowledge of energy and water management. = does not recycle enough. These identified problems are directly proportional to the needs of the local community. Also, in the Writing Stage of the project, we also identified the needs of the partner organizations, which determined us to apply this project: = Asociatia Sportiva Romiscare (ASR) is a newcomer in Erasmus+ = Organizational capacity is low, and this project helped us to increase the number of experts and volunteers = the need to involve young people with few opportunities in international projects
