The objectives of the project "EMPLOY.M.E.N.T." were: - Identify and understand the needs and challenges faced by young people in Romania and Italy regarding self-employment and youth entrepreneurship. - Provide comprehensive support, mentorship, and training programs tailored to the specific needs of young entrepreneurs. - Raise awareness among participants about existing support services, facilities, and growth opportunities. - Facilitate peer exchange, collaboration, and networking opportunities among young entrepreneurs. - Engage stakeholders, including employment offices, local youth forums/organizations, and career guidance professionals, to gather insights and foster a supportive ecosystem. - Generate a comprehensive understanding of the current situation regarding self-employment and youth entrepreneurship in Romania and Italy to inform future project activities. - Contribute to the personal and professional growth of participants and enhance their skills, competencies, and awareness in the field of self-employment and youth entrepreneurship.
We applied for the project "EMPLOY.M.E.N.T." to address the pressing needs and challenges faced by young people in relation to self-employment and youth entrepreneurship. We recognized the lack of job opportunities and motivation, and financial constraints that hindered their entry into the job market. Our aim was to provide comprehensive support, guidance, and training programs to empower young entrepreneurs and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Through the project, we aimed to bridge the information gap by raising awareness about existing resources and growth opportunities available to young entrepreneurs. By identifying and addressing these needs, we aimed to create an enabling environment that fosters youth entrepreneurship and facilitates the transition from education to self-employment.
