Main aim of the project ‘Green Activism: Hiking for Mother Earth’ was to raise awareness of young people on green activism and encourage them to take part in actions supporting ecology, environment and protection of nature. The project ‘Green Activism: Hiking for Mother Earth’ was set in the line with the following objectives: -to provide young people from 7 participating countries (Sweden, North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Greece) an opportunity to gain new competences and skills in green activism; -to inspire the participants, young people from their local communities, especially Macedonian young people to be more proactive in protecting nature, living a more green life. -to bring together organizations interested in green activism, to create an environment of sharing tools, methods, and ideas, and to bring back to our work new ideas on approaching this topic. By meeting the set objectives we aim to empower young people to be actively involved in the life of their communities, countries and contribute to the change by undertaking everyday actions improving the environment around them and making green and sustainable choices.
