The Modern Entrepreneurship for a better future project has implemented a youth exchange activity, where we have Slovenia, hosting young people from four European countries - Romania, Lithuania, Poland and Hungary, with young people from Slovenia. During these nine days together, the young participants socialised, got to know each other and the cultures we come from - all under the common theme of learning about entrepreneurship. We were all united by a common desire to learn about topics such as entrepreneurial thinking, how to start a business, good entrepreneurial practices and how we can bring out the entrepreneur in ourselves. For some time now, young people have been facing not only the Covid crisis, but also an uncertain employment future, some with current unemployment and all with questions about their own future. But we saw all these obstacles as potential from which something new could emerge. Through the project, we wanted to develop competences that will help us to get our first jobs, start our own businesses and be entrepreneurial in life. We developed these competences while achieving our project objectives. We reflected, held workshops in groups, talked, debated, socialised, had tours and played outdoor sports, among other things The objectives of our project were: - to learn about the concept of entrepreneurship - to explore what qualities and skills entrepreneurs have, which ones we have and which ones we would like to develop further - to learn about the state of entrepreneurship in our countries - to learn about green entrepreneurial practices in our immediate environment of Murska Sobota - debate about global entrepreneurs who fascinate and inspire us - to learn about digital marketing through the implementation of our dissemination campaign - learn the difference between marketing sustainable products and "green washing" - to design a company that offers a solution to one of the most pressing problems currently facing the hackathon industry - develop self-confidence through teambuilding workshops - learn about the business model and the process of opening a company - reflect on and discuss the competences acquired - be active outdoors, have a hike and use the motor park - to do light physical exercises every morning - meditate and write a diary every morning - to get to know the cultures of the participating countries through a culinary market and national evenings - to reinforce respect for the rules of good behaviour towards people and the environment and protection from Covida - to learn about Erasmus+ projects and the opportunities they offer - learn about the Youthpass certificate and develop key competences - learn about Europass, early career development and CV writing - learn about Europass, early career development and CV writing - debate the impact of Covide on career planning and the entrepreneurial mindset in the participating countries - to carry out other dissemination activities such as Zoom meetings and online publications - spread the good word about our project and Erasmus+ projects - get to know each other and learn about new cultures.
