The main goal of the "Next Generation Changemakers" project was the fight against youth unemployment in the EU. Through various activities and non-formal education approaches, we encouraged activities that support young people to prepare for their first business steps. The project enabled the young participants to learn and improve certain life and business skills that will help them enter the labor market. During 11 days, 33 participants from 4 EU countries took part in youth exchange that took place in Postojna, Slovenia. They got to know each other and talked, exchanged opinions and thoughts, learned new skills, grew as individuals and overcame their differences. They participated in various learning activities and created quality ideas that will help them become more competitive in business. We also paid attention to the other set goals of the project, namely that: - encourage young participants by organizing a youth exchange project in an international environment; - we upgrade participants with skills and attitudes that will help them become more competitive in the labor market at the present time, as well as during the recovery period after the coronavirus pandemic; - we present the EU Strategy and 11 European goals for young people, with the aim of making the participants active European citizens; - encourage European mutual cooperation in the youth field; - we achieve a greater capacity of partner organizations to operate at the international level by modernizing our activities and internationalizing our management and organizational capabilities by creating a strong and stable partnership; - encourage green and digital transformations throughout all phases of the project.
