Social entrepreneurship and the mentality it advocates are extremely important nowadays, which is why we decided to implement this project. Project partners and our young members believe that young people need to know more about this area, because they are the ones who are increasingly facing many challenges and uncertainty about their future. We live in a time dominated by excessive consumerism and the pursuit of ever-increasing profits. As part of this project, we worked to make young people more aware of social entrepreneurship and the possibilities it offers them, and to awaken an entrepreneurial mindset in them. In addition to learning about social entrepreneurship, we also helped the young people involved in developing their ideas, which helped them become more engaged, active and empowered citizens, who are now more confidently advocating for positive changes in society. Our project was closely related to the general objectives of the Erasmus + program. As part of this project, we enabled the young participants to develop personally and gain new useful knowledge and skills. We encouraged the young people involved to think about the world around them, express themselves better and come up with their own ideas that will improve the current situation in their environment in the future. With the help of this project, we strengthened their European identity and contributed to the young people becoming more engaged citizens who are now more aware of how they can contribute to positive changes in their local communities.
