Objectives

Equal opportunities and equal access to economic resources and jobs for boys and girls are key in the fight against poverty and social exclusion in Europe, which is an even bigger problem if a person comes from any socially vulnerable group. The EU and its members promote entrepreneurial skills among young people as a safe path to active participation in society. The role of youth work in promoting entrepreneurial learning has sometimes been overlooked, but there is no doubt about the contribution of youth work in supporting young people in acquiring the competencies that will help them achieve personal goals and become active citizens in Europe. Youth unemployment is high in most of Europe. According to Eurostat data, in 2008, before the impact of the economic crisis, 6.4 million young Europeans were unemployed. This number increased by more than 40% in the following years and in 2013 rose to 9.3 million unemployed young people. However, youth unemployment has been and still is very unevenly distributed across Europe. Their main problem is access to financing and knowledge, youth-oriented training, and networking. Young people who start their own business need to understand the employment process and the wider societal options that affect personal abilities - individuals must be prepared to face the challenges of society, the labor market, and the business sector. Therefore, education and training in this area is the most important investment to be planned for the future. To ensure quality entrepreneurship education, youth workers must improve their work practices and methods related to the non-profit world, to help young people transform their ideas into work, anticipate the economic climate, identify opportunities, self-motivation or the need to operate through gamification as a teaching and learning method suitable for young people. With this project, we wanted to encourage an increase in the number of youth workers who are willing and able to participate in programs that inevitably overlap with the topic of entrepreneurship, and go further in realizing this type of education in groups with fewer opportunities. Organizations of this type lack capital. The labor market, (only) employment, creating companies, finance, management was one of the main themes included in the educational game developed during the TC. The main focus of the project was to strengthen young people in establishing their own companies and thus the development of the micro and small business sector. The main product, created during project activities as a new educational method: GAME OF SUCCESS The objectives of the project were: expand the knowledge of youth workers on the topic of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial education; equip these with the right skills and competencies for creating new jobs among young people and young people with fewer opportunities. exchange and share knowledge, experiences, and good practices about personal views on entrepreneurial education and practice. Provide an understanding of gamification in working with young people and create an educational game - GAME OF SUCCESS Design methods to promote youth participation, especially when starting their own business. Promote creativity, competitiveness, and a sense of initiative for self-employment by creating small or micro businesses. Create a network of youth workers and organizations that continue to explore and offer various forms of entrepreneurial education.
