The aim of the project was to deepen our ties with the environment, as we believe that a healthy environment is a basic condition for a healthy life for ourselves. We presented ways to integrate care for the environment into our personal lives, into the ways our organizations operate, and into the design of future joint projects. The core of the project offered new perspectives and concrete examples of living and working in the community and enabled youth workers to learn tools and skills for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and learn and experience ways of connecting with each other on an interpersonal, regional, national and international level. We have dedicated ourselves to practices that connect us more deeply with our own bodies, that encourage us to become aware of our true needs - biological physical needs, emotional needs and the need to create personal and collective meaning, as we believe that this is the basis for creating authentic communities that enable a fulfilling life and healthy relationships. We devoted ourselves to thinking about possible ecological orientations that partners can bring into their operations, such as ecologically oriented projects, adapting activities to be more environmentally friendly, extending them to the rural environment, creating sustainable projects in cities, campaigns to increase awareness of environmental themes, somatic practices that address the entire way of life of individuals and society through the physical body, dixuses that place concrete experiential activities in the context of wider environmental action. We emphasized the importance of nurturing healthy relationships and creating close bonds of support within the immediate local and wider international community. We encouraged environmentally friendly and innovative methods of holistic learning and personal development in youth work. Our goals were: the introduction of self-care practices in the personal life of individuals and in the operation of youth organizations, the use of natural energy sources, improved quality and efficiency of interconnection, which leads to a reduction in consumption; strengthening knowledge, skills and an informed attitude towards climate change and sustainable development both locally and globally; encouraging rural development through learning about good practices for sustainable farming, natural resource management, soil protection and organic agriculture; increased awareness of the body and the quality of our relationships with the environment.
