With said project we wished to explore one of the core values of the European Union - peacekeeping. Through which we wanted to rethink and transform the role of the Škofja Loka barracks. We did this in two different ways. Firstly, in the form of involving the youth in the activities of non-governmental organizations. Through informal education participants developed their digital competences, media literacy and knowledge in the field of non-governmental organizations and event organization. Secondly, through researching the model of demilitarization of former military premises - through creativity, critical thinking and social engagement. Since the space in question developed organically, most users use it in a very individualistic manner. Through the implemented activities, we therefore acted in the spirit of integration.
