Saplinq, o.z (SQ) is a civil association founded in 2012 that is dedicated to professional and personal development, integration, support and protection of human rights of the LGBT+ community (lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender persons) in Slovakia. SQ provides training and educational activities to support LGBT+ initiatives, builds and expands networks of mutual support for LGBT+ adult educators in Slovakia and connects them within the EU. We educate and support leaders of the LGBT+ community to become active citizens and tackle issues such as social exclusion, discrimination and violence due to homophobia, transphobia or gender expression. We joined this project with the aim of strengthening the provision of training for SaplinQ o.z. workers.
