Objectives

Our priority was to provide students and teachers with opportunities to get to know other cultures, their opinions and attitudes, as well as to offer enough inspirations from other educational institutions. At the same time, we have carried out these Erasmus activities in synergy with the eTwinning project, which greatly increased the efficiency, results and impact of international cooperation in all directions. We focused on the history of our countries, on expanding the EU awareness, democratic values, human rights, the meaning of freedom, as well as environmental topics and the development of links between science, culture and traditions.

Background

The Secondary Grammar School of Ivan Kupec, which was founded almost 90 years ago, provides lower and higher secondary education, with the primary goal of preparing pupils for successful university studies and a successful start in the labour market, not only in our country, but throughout Europe. Therefore, we pay great attention to the development of communication and soft skills with the same emphasis on the development of the academic knowledge of our pupils. Through the Erasmus project, we wanted to help our pupils get out of the comfort zone and develop their key competences in active cooperation in a multicultural environment that will develop their potential in the spirit of European values and through modern educational methods.
