Objectives

The goal of the project was the exchange of experience and mutual learning of 33 youth workers. Using creative and innovative forms of informal education and informal learning in order to help disadvantaged young people get instructions on how to take care of their livelihood, increase their employability, help them start a business. We focused on the presentation and understanding of practical examples from real business in agriculture and related fields in order to cover the issue of people working outdoors. At the same time, these are skills that may not be covered by professionally educated employees, because they can also be auxiliary jobs. This area is suitable for our target group of young people, who will then be approached and prepared for life and work by our youth workers of partner organizations trained by us. Based on what we have seen and experienced, we have evaluated our possibilities and acquired skills in the field of information processing. So that we can prepare suitable materials for work with youth. Each group of the partner organization and each participant approached the obtained information from their own point of view and at the same time from the complex point of view of the group. How his skills and experience changed during the implementation of project activities. We have put all the information into a processed brochure called How to change your life so far. We focused on the individual activities of work in the garden, so that those interested could realize the importance of the decision to take care of their at least partial independence in the supply of vegetables. It is also a guide on how to change your thinking from the obvious in a chain store to specific work in the garden, on the land, with the farmer, or in your own business. The presented companies and entrepreneurs focused on detailed information that needs to be explained to young people so that they realize the importance and responsibility of owning their own business. All the skills and information that the participants acquired in practice and in the form of excursions and experiences were subsequently transformed into the form of discussions, targeted conversations and the creation of methods and forms that will be suitable in their work with youth.
