Our main objective in the implementation of this project was to combat youth unemployment and poverty, with a particular focus on promoting the participation of young disabled people in the employment process. Through this international cooperation project, we sought to expand the possibilities for European cooperation in this field and to promote mutual understanding between young people with limited opportunities in different countries. Our ambitions were twofold: to directly support the development of skills and competences of young people, to prepare them for entering the labour market and to train persons who can further help other young people in the same field. Our intention was also to recognise and validate the competences acquired through tools such as Youthpass, thus promoting their relevance and usefulness in finding employment. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: 1. Empowering young people with fewer opportunities while tackling social exclusion - a multifaceted problem that is currently driving youth unemployment in Europe. 2- Increase the competences of youth workers involved in the integration of young people with disabilities into the labour market by providing them with the necessary tools and methods. 3- To better understand the realities in Europe and to consider non-formal education as a creative solution to better prepare for the labour market. 4- Engage young people with disabilities to support them in their search for employment. 5- Promote the Erasmus+ programme as a tool to empower young people in the labour market. 6- Share good practices and create new collaborations between our partner organisations. 7- Explore whether entrepreneurship - defined as self-employment or business ownership - offers a viable solution to the problem of youth unemployment.
